Future Leaders

The Changemakers Future Leaders programme is designed for organisations who want to improve or increase the ways that they engage with young people.

We believe that to create really sustainable change in the policy and practice of an Organisation, we need to use the expertise and enthusiasm of young people themselves to advocate youth participation.

Changemakers strengthens bond with community through Muslim leaders programme

Changemakers is working in partnership with the Muslim Council of Britain and Muslimaat to deliver a Future Leaders programme, funded by Communities and Local Government, to empower young Muslim women and men by working with them to deliver community action projects.

Changemakers will be recruiting Muslim Young Advocates to develop projects designed to make a positive impact in their community. These young people will then recruit their peers to design and deliver a community action project. Young Advocates will be paid for ten days work over six months.
